A sports streaming app is in the works

The Walt Disney Company has announced that it will launch a new streaming sports service along with ESPN and Warner Bros. “The launch of this new streaming sports service is a significant moment for Disney and ESPN, a major win for sports fans, and an important step forward for the media business,” the company said in a statement.

Problems at a key Boeing supplier may help explain the company’s mess

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has said that it is conducting an inspection of the Boeing 737 fuselage factories in Wichita, Kansas and Washington, DC. About 50 jets will require additional work before they can leave the factory because of improper drilled holes, Boeing said. It added the production errors are “not an immediate flight safety issue”.

Evergrande Group, which was recently declared insolvent by a Hong Kong court, has a total of $19 billion in real estate development liabilities, according to its audited results. It owes about $14 billion in payments to investors and the remaining $2 billion is classified as outstanding dues, Bloomberg reported. Evergrande is the country’s third-largest real estate company by market value after Wanda and China Evergrande Group.
