The deportees’ families had argued that they were not criminal gang members and were instead sent there on humanitarian grounds. US President Donald Trump had ordered the deportation of the migrants after they were found vandalising a US-Mexico border fence.

He added that the newspaper will be “a place of freedom of the press”. This comes after Bezos ordered Post journalists not to write on topics related to his personal life, including Amazon and his wife MacKenzie Bezos.
