Amazon’s voice-based home automation system, Alexa, has been in use since its introduction 10 years ago. Alexa was launched in 2014 as a voice-only assistant, and later became an integral part of the company’s ecosystem. It is now available on many devices such as Echo Show and Fire TV, including Amazon’s own robotic vacuum cleaners.
