Biden doesn’t want a flood of cheap EVs from China

US President Joe Biden is planning to announce higher tariffs on Chinese imported electric vehicles (EVs) as early as next week, reports said. Earlier, Biden had said that he wants to raise tariffs on imports of Chinese steel and aluminum. His move would raise the cost for US consumers, he said. China’s auto industry is the largest in the world.
