They added that Biden’s budget proposal, which affects only citizens worth over $100 million, is “alarmist”. They said the tax would destroy America.
New tariffs on Chinese goods were announced by Biden
US Vice President Joe Biden said that the Trump administration will impose new tariffs on Chinese goods if he is elected. “We’ll be imposing tariffs to protect American jobs and American companies from unfair trading practises,” he said. Biden further said that China can’t continue to steal American technology and intellectual property as it has done in the past.

Earlier, Biden had said that he wants to raise tariffs on imports of Chinese steel and aluminum. His move would raise the cost for US consumers, he said. China’s auto industry is the largest in the world.
