Publishers were denied the option to opt out of the artificial intelligence search

Google has said that allowing publishers to choose which features are in AI Search would add “enormous complexity”, Bloomberg reported. Google Search head Liz Reid said allowing publishers to opt-out would add “enormous complexity”. Earlier, a report had claimed that Google had discussed offering publishers more granular control over how website data would be used in AI Search features.

Microsoft has tripled down on artificial intelligence

Microsoft, in an interview with Bloomberg, revealed it’s creating a new group of AI engineers as part of its transformation into a technology company. Microsoft said it is combining its AI platform work with its developer division to build software solutions for customers and their own teams. This comes after Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg predicted that AI-powered apps would be built by AI engineers.
