Port jobs are at risk following Baltimore disaster
The key bridge that collapsed in Baltimore, Maryland in the US, was built in the 1970s but only one of the three toll bridges in Baltimore’s Harbor is not a tunnel. Baltimore’s Key Bridge was built in 1974 but had a deep and patriotic history, witnessing British bombardment of Fort McHenry, according to NPR. About $80 billion worth of cargo goes through the port each year.
