TikTok’s future in the US is Unclear as we check back with the billionaire who wants to save it

TikTok owner Frank McCourt has said he’s going to sell the app in the US and added that his project ‘Project Liberty’ has received at least $20 billion in pledges to purchase the app. He added that he wants to include Project Liberty’s decentralised social networking protocol, DSNP, into TikTok to allow users to export friends across other interoperable apps.
