Harvard’s president says they should “stand firm” as Trump targets elite schools
Several schools in Hong Kong have invited international students at Harvard to join their institutions, following US’ decision to ban the American institution from enrolling foreign students. Last week, US President Donald Trump banned international students from attending Harvard and other major universities for a period of up to three years. Harvard University has sued the US government over the ban.

Evergrande Group, which was recently declared insolvent by a Hong Kong court, has a total of $19 billion in real estate development liabilities, according to its audited results. It owes about $14 billion in payments to investors and the remaining $2 billion is classified as outstanding dues, Bloomberg reported. Evergrande is the country’s third-largest real estate company by market value after Wanda and China Evergrande Group.
