The DOJ says the search monopoly must be broken through the sale of Chrome

The US Justice Department has asked a federal judge to limit Google’s Chrome browser and its search services to Google-owned Motorola Mobility and Google Inc. This comes after the department had sued Google in August over allegations that it abused its dominant position in online search. In August, the department had said Google’s monopoly was in danger because it was acting as an illegal monopoly.
