USPS suspends parcels from Hong Kong

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order ending the exemption on import duties for some products made in China. Small packages of less than 800 grams are not subject to import duties under de minimis rule, which went into effect in 1930. The move is expected to hurt discount e-commerce platforms like Temu and Shein.
