Can South Korea get back to being a leader in innovation?

South Korea has increased its budget for global research and development (R&D) to over one billion dollars in the next five years. This comes after the South Korean government reduced funding for research and development to only 14.7% at the end of 2021. The US, which has a history with South Korea dating back to the 1950s, is the country with the highest collaborative share.
