A US judge has ruled that an artificial intelligence firm could not use copyright-protected content from law firm Westlaw’s website, a ruling that could have a major effect on AI firms. “We are pleased that the court granted summary judgment in our favour,” Westlaw said. It added that the copied content will not be used without the firm’s consent.
