Following US President-elect Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election, Google CEO Sundar Pichai took to Twitter and wrote, “Thank you for your confidence in us.” “We look forward to working with you to make this a better country,” Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella wrote. Amazon CEO Andy Jassy also wrote, “We’re looking forward to working together with you in your new administration.”

Google CEO Sundar Pichai told a court during a trial that Google makes more people do more Google searches, everybody involved in a deal gets paid and that’s the only way to compete. The US Justice Department had sued Google alleging it illegally manoeuvred its business dealings to ensure it was the first search engine people see when they turn on their phones or computers.

It was once asked by the company to preload its app on the platform

Google CEO Sundar Pichai has said Apple CEO Tim Cook met him about once a year in 2018 to talk about the state of the search deal between them. He further said that they discussed the status of the search deal, which brings Apple billions of dollars a year. Microsoft has failed to invest, innovate in a way comparable to Google, Pichai added.
