The UAW and Ford reached a tentative agreement to end the strike

The US Auto Workers (UAW) on Friday reached a tentative deal to end its strike with General Motors. The deal will bring about 20,000 workers back to work, including in Chicago, Kentucky, Michigan and Chicago. The UAW has been on strike for over a week against GM and Ford. The UAW will now negotiate with both carmakers for a new deal.
