The nuclear deal was signed by the internet giant

Amazon has announced three new deals with US-based startup X-energy to buy electricity from the startup’s small modular reactors (SMRs), which can be a fraction of the size of a traditional nuclear power plant. The company will use the funds to support “the completion of X-energy’s reactor design and licensing” and development of a fuel fabrication facility.
