The disclosure shows how sensitive the labor data may have been

US’ National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) didn’t allow its independent office DOGE the access to its computer system, a whistleblower said. The data could be abused by private companies, including Elon Musk-led SpaceX, he added. As per the whistleblower, DOGE employees demanded the highest level of access, what are called “tenant owner level” accounts inside the agency’s computer systems.

The labor board is accused of violating worker rights

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has said that it’s “confident” in a US Supreme Court ruling on the unconstitutionality of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRB). The board had filed complaints against Amazon and Elon Musk-led SpaceX after they were found to have violated employee rights by not collectively negotiating with their labour unions. The court will hear the cases on Monday.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk tweeted about the alleged assassination attempt of former US President Donald Trump, calling it “racially hateful”. “There are two different kinds of people – those who don’t want to be in power…those who have a hatred for people of colour,” he added. Earlier, Trump had said the assassination attempt was “a much better result” than in June.

The European Commission has fined SpaceX up to 6% of its annual global turnover for failing to comply with transparency obligations. It accused the startup of not complying with regulations on advertising and giving data to researchers. If SpaceX doesn’t reach a solution, the company faces fines up to 6% of its global annual turnover.
