During the 4th Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that Apple will launch its own AI-based facial recognition software, named ‘Gemini’, by the end of the year. The software will help developers create AI-based applications for the iPhone, iPad, Mac and other devices. “Our vision is to have the power of AI in all our products,” Cook said.
The app store was lost by Apple
A US judge said that Apple’s CEO Tim Cook had the option of complying with her order or choosing an “unjustified” App Store fee, reports said. The judge said this after Apple refused to comply with the court’s order and charged developers for links and buttons within their apps that would allow users to purchase methods outside of the App Store.
