The UAW and Ford reached a tentative agreement to end the strike
The US Auto Workers (UAW) on Friday reached a tentative deal to end its strike with General Motors. The deal will bring about 20,000 workers back to work, including in Chicago, Kentucky, Michigan and Chicago. The UAW has been on strike for over a week against GM and Ford. The UAW will now negotiate with both carmakers for a new deal.

Netflix’s revenue grew by more than 20% compared to a year ago in the July-September quarter. The company’s net income for the period rose to $1.68 billion from $1.26 billion in the year-ago period. Netflix’s revenue from its high energy streaming platform, which includes advertising, was $1.54 billion, an increase of 23% from the year-ago period.

The company said the annual fee will apply to new users who want to post, like reply and quote other content on the platform. The fee will also apply to existing users.
